Why no adverts?

I don’t have an advertisements on this site or RSS feed because I believe they would detract from the site while providing negligible extra income.

I get many emails from new generation ad and PR agencies asking if they can buy space for articles written by the agencies themselves to promote a particular product or service. In fact, it makes me wonder how many other sites I follow might not be as independent as I might think. All posts on this web site are written by me. Any prejudice is due to my own personal views and experience.
