Nokia Device Loan Program

Wednesday, October 31st, 2007

Forum Nokia have just announced a device loaner program. This is great for the smaller developers who can’t afford to purchase every device. It only costs 25 Euro to loan for 3 weeks. You can currently loan a N95, N75, E65 or 5300. Hopefully the range of devices will increase with time.

50 Companies to Watch in Mobile

Tuesday, October 23rd, 2007

There’s an interesting read at Real Business where you can download the Real Business/ O2 ‘50 to Watch in Mobile’. While only British firms are included, the observations are equally applicable to any country. I was struck by the number of B2B ideas and how specialist are some of them. There are also quite a […]

Mobile Sorcery MoSync

Monday, October 22nd, 2007

Last week I mentioned Mobile Sorcery’s MoSync. Since then I have received clarifications from Mobile Sorcery as to how MoSync actually works and will be licensed…

MoSync runtimes will not necessarily be interpreting the intermediate code - on Java there will be an option of statically generating java bytecode while the Symbian and Windows Mobile versions […]
