JD Power and Associates have released the results of a study into US mobile phone customer satisfaction. Operation and physical design were seen to be more important than phone features.

As phones and the services become more complex, ease of operation becomes paramount. New features and services should only be added to new phones if they are easy to use. In fact, the best new features and services may be those that make existing phone facilities easy to use.
