If you develop or are thinking of developing for UIQ, you should check out the forthcoming UIQ Developer Fast Track Events in Boston and San Francisco. The Fast Track provides both technical and commercial content to accelerate your understanding of UIQ.

When people think about UIQ they often just think about programming Symbian and C++. However, Java ME is also fully supported under UIQ. In the past I worked on the implementation of this Java runtime. UIQ have recently published a white paper ‘UIQ 3 Java ME platform and tools’ that gives platform specific information on developing with Java ME on the UIQ platform.
