Jo on the London Mobile Monday email group has posted a link to Deloitte’s Telecommunications Predictions 2008. There’s a downloadable report and associated podcast that plays in your browser.

As I said two days ago, future predictions should be taken lightly. However, the report is nearer term than most and contains some interesting issues and ideas for anyone innovating within mobile. For example, think about using old technologies in newer interesting ways - in much the same way as the iPhone has done.

I also like the advice to plan for the next year and not the next ten years. Things are changing too quickly at the moment.
