I recently wrote about the new Skypephone and commented on how the fonts could be better. In fact, poor fonts seem to currently be an inherent part of Chinese ODM phones.

Today, I came across a great post at Sender 11 explaining what fonts are used by Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Motorola, Samsung et al.

While you are there, also take a look at ways Google’s Mobile Gmail could be improved. Even better, read the Mobile Myths. I particularly subscribe to the myth that the future of mobile is (solely) the web.
