Nokia Entertainment Study

The results are fascinating and have many implications on how we go about creating new mobile applications and services. The report is based on research from 17 countries between July and September 2007.

"9,000 consumers who are active users of technology, and own a mobile phone (not restricted to Nokia devices), aged 16 to 35 were questioned. The questions identified particular attitudes and behaviors consumers have with regard to their entertainment hardware, software, the ways they consume and how they create, share, store and communicate using media entertainment. From this, we have constructed a global picture of what entertainment will look like over the next five years."

There are also lots of stats, for example, the most popular global social network sites, IM Services, video-sharing sites, virtual worlds, photo-sharing sites and aggregator sites. The study also splits by country to give a snapshot of the entertainment culture across the World.
