Cashback Tariffs
In July last year, I mentioned that some UK companies were offering not only free phones but free call and SMS usage. At the time I mentioned that these offers were reliant on these companies being around for the duration of the 12 or 18 month contract.
Well, last weekend, I read in the Guardian Newspaper that there has been a new 20 million pound/yr government advice centre set up to solve consumer problems. The top problem at the moment happens to involve mobile phones, in particular, failed cashbacks! Two companies in particular are no longer trading.
