Wow. Russell Beattie has given up blogging (for now). I thought… Is it April 1st? No. Why did he do this when he has recently spent so much effort updating the ‘look’ of his site? Only a few days ago, he added a subscribe by email facility -what was the point? He once posted how much he was making from Google AdSense. Doesn’t he want that income any more?

I’ll miss Russell’s posts. While I didn’t always agree with his views, I knew some of them were the result of ‘instant thoughts’ which, intentionally or not, caused people think deeply about mobile issues. I guess, Russell has just ‘had enough’. There are (too) many blogs these days and blogging isn’t cutting edge any more - something which Russell thrives on.
